New to Trinity?

Welcome!  We hope you find Trinity to be a warm, inviting place where you can worship God and live out your calling to follow Christ.

Trinity Baptist Church began in 1953, emerging out of a daytime women’s prayer gathering.  Since her inception, Trinity has maintained a progressive identity as a Baptist Church in Oconee County.  Trinity has always been community-minded, having a role in the development of Habitat for Humanity, Our Daily Rest Homeless Shelter, and Oconee County’s first kindergarten program.

Today we are a vibrant family of faith in action.  We study the Bible together, grow together in Christ alongside one another, and live out our lives together in our community.  The people of Trinity are also active in Oconee County through various civic organizations.  Trinity is connected locally with churches of varying denominations through Seneca’s ecumenical Lenten services each year.  We partner with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship to support field personnel around the world who are being the presence of Christ, and each year different groups and individuals within our family of faith participate in short-term missional opportunities, locally and internationally, to keep us connected in a special way to our calling to share God’s love.

There are many different ways for you to connect to Trinity.  Check out our Frequently Asked Questions page to find out more about worship at Trinity, our regular schedule (including Sunday School and other Bible study times), and organizations with which we partner.

Thanks for visiting, and blessings on you as you seek to follow God through connecting with a church family!
